Stephen Quatrano

Founder, CTO

Stephen is an entrepreneur, engineer, management consultant and teacher, with 25 years of experience in emerging technologies, innovation and stimulating the adoption of new ideas. He was instrumental to the success of SQL Solutions, acquired by Sybase in 1990, and WebLine Communications, where as the third employee he developed systems that unified voice communications, email, and the web.

After WebLine was acquired by Cisco Systems in 1999, Steve worked with the inventors of VoIP on next-generation messaging. Most recently, Stephen's love of science and public policy led him to found Science Media and Engagement Strategies, to foster and inform public engagement with science on a large scale.

Steve graduated from Dartmouth College and holds several patents.
